Spelling Bug - Free App Reviews

Has potential, but the letters, home button, and ad are too close together.

Works awesome and its free my little guy has no trouble navigating it. The letters only snap into their correct spot. However a little positive reinforcement would be a welcome feature for any future upgrades... Great Job!

There are just enough options in the free version, it is however blurry and you cant repeat the words for kids to sound out.

Would be better if it would repeat the word and if the letters were in lower case. Children should learn how to read and in lower case letters not upper case. We do not read or write that way!!

But I have another caviote. The "home" button is positioned in a place that is too easy to accidentally brush it and it closes out the word that was being worked on. Better placement (like in the upper corner perhaps) would be helpful.

Game wont load after two tries.

Could have been so much better. The home fwd and back buttons are right where your hands rest for spelling. So the kids accidentally restart almost every time. Stupid button layout for the iPad.

Thought it was easy - my kids loved it.

Loaded just fine. But really needs work to make this a good app. This so is maybe for 1st graders who just need to be quizzed. My 4 1/2 year old som was really confused by the letters being below the pic. He didnt understand that they were scrambled he thought that was just how the word was spelled.

My son used it once and was not impressed. All of the other educational apps show him if the answer is right or wrong. This one doesnt

Both my son and I kept hitting ads and the arrows. The layout is bad.

The sounding out of words are awful! The voice cant say the word fan, sounds it out fn. And also cant sound out the word ant, its at. Who makes this apps?? Did they not review their work?? Dont get it! Your kids are smarter then this. Lol

Please move the ad to the top. My kid keeps hitting the ad when trying to go to the next word. Also. The app crashes when you come back to it after leaving it. And it makes you start over from the beginning. Seems to not be compatible with multitasking.

Ad on bottom is a horrible looking zombie face and zombie game. Really???

I like the spelling for my daughter however I do not want her looking at naked people to learn how to spell cat. Poor choice of ad sponsors. Im deleting this app now.

I thought this was a great but rather easy app until I looked down to see an ad for a "flirtatious" something or other with a scantily clad woman. This app has been deleted since the ads are not appropriate at all. So sad!

Funny how the ads are strategically placed right below the blue arrows... My 4 year old keeps pressing the wrong arrow and somehow the ads keep opening! She even managed to place a call to one of the advertisers. Good idea but not kid friendly. Also might want to add some positive reinforcement(stars, clapping) when the child gets the answer correct.

It is a horrible app

Please move the advertisements for additional app purchases away from the go on arrow where little children are naturally going to touch it!
